Este trabajo tiene como objetivo determinar la estrategia de control más efectiva para el manejo de la broca. Para ello se realizó una revisión de literatura científica sobre la broca, mediante la base de datos SCOPUS. El procedimiento de búsqueda dio lugar a 399 documentos y solo se consideraron 33 artículos para la revisión sistemática, ya que se aplicó ciertos criterios de inclusión y exclusión. La mayoría de artículos abarcaron estrategias para un manejo ecológico, siendo el manejo biológico el más efectivo por el alto porcentaje de mortandad obtenido en campo.
