description La presente investigación tiene como objetivo o finalidad, determinar la relación que existe entre el principio de igualdad y sus implicancias en la conformación de las listas políticas para las elecciones municipales en el distrito de Shilla, 2017 – Ancash. Para lo cual se hizo uso del diseño no experimental transaccional – simple, nivel descriptivo – explicativo, teniendo una muestra de 100 pobladores del distrito de Shilla que participan en actos políticos, a quienes se les administró una encuesta para acopiar sus percepciones referentes a la relación que existe entre el principio de igualdad y sus implicancias en la conformación de las listas políticas para las elecciones municipales en el distrito de Shilla. En base a los resultados estadísticos obtenidos se concluye que existe una relación de dependencia significativa directa entre las variables, principio de igualdad y sus implicancias en la conformación de listas políticas, confirmándose las hipótesis formuladas en la investigación.
