La presente investigación tuvo como propósito determinar que la aplicación de un sistema de control interno de almacén, permita mejorar la gestión de inventarios de la empresa Grupo Ferretero Construya E.I.R.L., para lo cual se utilizó el tipo de investigación descriptiva de diseño no experimental de corte transversal siendo la población la empresa materia de estudio y la muestra fueron 8 trabajadores de las áreas de almacén, contabilidad y gerencia general, quienes constituyen las unidades y análisis. La técnica utilizada fue la entrevista y como instrumento la guía de entrevista. Entre otros resultados se encontró que no existía un control adecuado de ingresos y salidas de los inventarios, que la gestión de los inventarios es mala, siendo deficiente, y que se encuentran faltantes de inventarios en el área de almacén y que aún no se regularizan. iii ABSTRACT The present investigation had as intention determine that the application of a system of internal control of store, the inventor management of the company allows to improve Group Hardware store dealer Constructs E.I.R.L. for which there was in use the type of descriptive investigation of not experimental design of transverse court being the population the company matter of study and the sample they were 8 workers of the areas of store, accounting and general management, who constitute the units and analysis.
