description Con esta investigación se busca demostrar que el Tribunal Registral de la SUNARP mediante la Resolución N°240-2013-SUNARP/PT, que dispuso la publicación del precedente de observancia obligatoria aprobado en el CIX Pleno, respecto a la extinción de inscripción por renuncia al derecho de propiedad, hizo una errónea interpretación, por cuanto, en armonía con el artículo 94 de su Texto Único Ordenado, lo que corresponde frente a la renuncia de la propiedad es la cancelación del asiento donde corre inscrito tal derecho del titular renunciante y no la desinmatriculación del bien, ello tomando en cuenta que el bien se revierte a favor del Estado quien asumirá la nueva titularidad registral.
