description La investigación fue titulada Gestión Municipal y responsabilidad social en la municipalidad Distrital de Chilca, donde el objetivo fue establecer la relación que existe entre la gestión municipal y la responsabilidad social en la municipalidad Distrital de Chilca, para lo cual se empleó el método científico de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, de nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental, asimismo conto con una muestra de 200 funcionarios públicos, que fueron encuestados empleando en ellos el cuestionario como instrumento de medición, finalmente los resultados que se obtuvieron fueron de 0,988 de nivel de correlación entre la gestión municipal y la responsabilidad social, donde se concluyó que a mejor gestión municipal, mejor será la responsabilidad social que realizaran los funcionarios públicos que laboran en la municipalidad distrital de Chilca, es por ello que se recomienda que se mejore la gestión municipal en todos sus ámbitos posibles, para que así los funcionarios públicos se encuentren más comprometidos con la sociedad ejerciendo en ellos labores responsables.
