description Se ejecutará un estudio observacional y analítico de cohortes en el Hospital Belén de Trujillo, con el objetivo de examinar un posible nexo entre la artritis reumatoide y la esteatosis hepática. En términos estadísticos, se aplicará el test de contingencia de ji cuadrado para analizar las variables con escala nominal. Las asociaciones detectadas se consideran relevantes estadísticamente si la probabilidad de error es inferior al 5% o en su expresión decimal, menor que 0.05. Considerando que se trata de un estudio longitudinal que evalúa la correlación la artritis y la esteatosis hepática, se determinará el riesgo relativo de desarrollar esteatosis hepática en pacientes expuestos a la artritis reumatoide. Además, se hallará la amplitud de confianza al 95% para cada estadígrafo
