description Al trabajar el siguiente proyecto se realizó una investigación descriptiva a la provincia de Trujillo, encontrando un déficit de infraestructura de tipología vivienda - residencia universitaria para estudiantes foráneos, el cual se hace necesario, a fin de brindar servicios e instalaciones adecuadas que puedan cubrir las necesidades de un alojamiento seguro, organizacional y funcional, a la vez que provea áreas de entretenimiento, estudio y socialización. Del indicado análisis, obtenemos que los servicios ofertados en el distrito de Trujillo, son muy limitados, y no cuentan con una infraestructura adecuada para el desarrollo de las actividades necesarias; además, como ya lo dijimos, de ser incapaces de cubrir la necesidad de alojamiento, entretenimiento, estudio, actividades complementarias y seguridad, en un mismo establecimiento. Considerando el hecho de no poder cubrir con la demanda total de estudiantes foráneos de toda la ciudad de Trujillo, se seleccionó la primera universidad particular más reconocida de la ciudad, la “Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego” – UPAO; y somos conscientes que tampoco podemos cubrir el aforo total de la misma universidad, pero si un porcentaje bastante considerable al cual podremos favorecer con la residencia. Además, creemos firmemente que este proyecto, será el ícono que motivará a otras universidades o personas naturales a invertir en este tipo de edificaciones, realizando otras infraestructuras de la misma tipología, en beneficio de nuestros estudiantes que vienen a la ciudad por un mejor futuro. La realización de este proyecto es factible, y se basa en la creación de una “Residencia Estudiantil para estudiantes foráneos” de pregrado, quienes llegan a la ciudad de Trujillo buscando alojamiento para estudiar en la UPAO; aplicamos en este diseño la arquitectura minimalista sostenible, rescatando la naturaleza. También se tuvo en cuenta mejorar la oferta, respecto a esta tipología de establecimiento que solo se adecua como alojamiento para descanso, por uno que ofrezca este servicio sumado a otras áreas que complementen el proyecto y a su vez cubran las necesidades y expectativas de los usuarios, mejorando así la calidad de vida del estudiante.

From the indicated analysis, we obtain that the services offered in the Trujillo district are very limited, and do not have an adequate infrastructure for the development of the necessary activities; in addition, as we have already said, of being unable to cover the need for accommodation, entertainment, study, complementary activities and security, in the same establishment. Considering the fact of not being able to cover the total demand of foreign students from the entire city of Trujillo, the first most recognized private university in the city was selected, the ““Antenor Orrego Private University““ - UPAO; and we are aware that we cannot cover the total capacity of the same university, but a fairly considerable percentage which we can favor with the residence. In addition, we firmly believe that this project will be the icon that will motivate other universities or individuals to invest in this type of building, building other infrastructures of the same type, for the benefit of our students who come to the city for a better future. The realization of this project is feasible, and is based on the creation of a ““Student Residence for foreign undergraduate students““, who arrive in the city of Trujillo looking for accommodation to study at UPAO; We apply sustainable minimalist architecture in this design, rescuing nature.
