La metodología empelada fue de investigación aplicada según su propósito, correlacional según el nivel de conocimientos y de diseño cuasi experimental; teniendo como población a todos los centros poblados de la región de La Libertad y como muestra específica el centro poblado de Bello Horizonte. En cuanto a los resultados que se han obtenido en este estudio, se puede mencionar que el área inundada es de: 11.99 has con un tirante máximo de aproximadamente 079 m por encima del nivel del suelo a lo largo del C.P. Bello Horizonte. Como conclusión principal se puede hacer mención que se realizó el diseño del drenaje pluvial urbano, bajo parámetros normativos, del centro poblado Bello Horizonte en el Departamento de la Libertad, con un sistema de cunetas a un punto de descarga identificado, teniendo en cuenta el caudal que escurre en la cuidad y el caudal proveniente de la cuenca; teniendo en cuenta un plan de evacuación estructurado por rutas de evacuación, señalizaciones y definición de zonas seguras y concentradas.

The methodology used was applied research according to its purpose, correlational according to the level of knowledge and quasi-experimental design; having as population all the populated centers of the La Libertad region and as a specific sample the populated center of Bello Horizonte. Regarding the results that have been obtained in this study, it can be mentioned that the flooded area is: 11.99 hectares with a maximum depth of approximately 079 m above ground level along the C.P. Beautiful horizon.
