Se utilizó un cuestionario validado previamente que constó de 15 preguntas el cual trata los temas de caries, dieta, higiene, flúor y técnicas de cepillado, este se tomó antes y después de la intervención. Después se les brindo una charla educativa donde se Para la intervención se utilizó material audio visual y maquetas de dientes. Para la presentación de datos nos apoyamos de tablas y gráficos, utilizando estadística descriptiva. Resultados: Se encontró que el nivel de conocimiento antes de la intervención fue suficiente con un 10.88% y después de la intervención aumento de nivel entre bueno a sobresaliente con un 56.64%. El grupo etario que mayor conocimiento obtuvo fueron los padres de 30 a 59 años presentando antes de la intervención un nivel suficiente de 6.35 % y después de esta un nivel de 31.79%. El sexo masculino tuvo mayor aceptación de la intervención donde su la mayoría de los padres obtuvieron el nivel de suficiente a sobresaliente. Según el grado de instrucción el nivel secundario obtuvo mayor conocimiento entre suficiente y sobresaliente. Conclusión: La intervención educativa fue eficaz debido al aumento del nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal de los padres de familia.

Conclusión: La intervención educativa fue eficaz debido al aumento del nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal de los padres de familia.Objective: To determine the effectiveness of a Virtual Intervention in the level of knowledge about oral health in parents of the IE of Vaquería Huamachuco - 2022 Materials and Methods: In this longitudinal, descriptive, prospective, prolective and experimental study. 173 parents of parents from the IE Vaquería - Huamachuco 2022 who met the inclusion criteria were evaluated. A previously validated questionnaire was obtained that consisted of 15 questions which deals with the topics of caries, diet, hygiene, fluoride and brushing techniques, this was taken before and after the intervention. Afterwards, they were given an educational talk where audiovisual material and tooth models were extracted for the intervention. For the presentation of data we rely on tables and graphs, using descriptive statistics. Results: It was found that the level of knowledge before the intervention was sufficient with 10.88% and after the intervention the level increased from good to outstanding with 56.64%. The age group that obtained the most knowledge were parents from 30 to 59 years old, presenting before the intervention a sufficient level of 6.35% and after this a level of 31.79%. The male sex had greater acceptance of the intervention where most of the parents obtained the level of sufficient to outstanding.
