La asociación de datos se realiza mediante estadística analítica con una significancia de p<0,05 para su interpretación. RESULTADOS: En cuanto a las características generales del personal asistencial, la media de edad fue de 53.57 años. Sin embargo, se observó que la edad media de los casos con lumbociatalgia (49.53 años) fue significativamente menor que la de los controles (57.61 años), con una diferencia estadísticamente significativa (p=0.039). En relación al sexo, el 41% de los participantes fueron mujeres y el 59% hombres. No se encontraron diferencias significativas en la distribución por sexo entre los casos y los controles (p=0.324). Respecto al área de servicio, la mayoría de los participantes trabajaba en hospitalización (80.91%), mientras que el 10.91% trabajaba en el centro quirúrgico y el 8.18% en consultorios. Aunque se observaron algunas diferencias en la distribución de los casos y controles en estas áreas, estas no fueron estadísticamente significativas (p=0.236). En términos de profesión, los médicos constituían el grupo más numeroso (53.54%), seguidos por enfermeros (20%) y técnicos (16.36%), obstetras (10.00%), Tampoco se encontraron diferencias significativas en la distribución profesional entre los casos y controles (p=0.562).CONCLUSION: La presencia de lumbociatalgia está asociado a bajo rendimiento laboral en personal asistencial Hospital de la Amistad Perú Corea Santa Rosa II-2 Piura 2022

MATERIAL AND METHODS: Observational, analytical case-control study. Historical-prospective with mixed data collection through medical records and self-administered surveys of healthcare personnel at Hospital II-2 Santa Rosa de Piura. Data association is conducted through analytical statistics with a significance of p<0.05 for interpretation. RESULTS: Regarding the general characteristics of the healthcare personnel, the mean age was 53.57 years. However, it was observed that the mean age of the cases with lumbosciatica (49.53 years) was significantly lower than that of the controls (57.61 years), with a statistically significant difference (p=0.039). In terms of gender, 41% of the participants were women and 59% were men. No significant differences were found in the gender distribution between cases and controls (p=0.324).Concerning the service area, the majority of the participants worked in hospitalization (80.91%), while 10.91% worked in the surgical center and 8.18% in clinics. Although some differences were observed in the distribution of cases and controls in these areas, they were not statistically significant (p=0.236). In terms of profession, doctors constituted the largest group (53.54%), followed by nurses (20%) and technicians (16.36%). No significant differences were found in the professional distribution between cases and controls (p=0.562).
