description Determinar la relación entre la necesidad de tratamiento Ortodóntico y la percepción de la Estética Oral en adolescentes de la I.E ¨Jesús de Nazareth¨ – Cajamarca 2022. Material y método: Es un estudio prospectivo, prolectivo, transversal, descriptivo y observacional. Se evaluó 151 adolescentes, en el tiempo de COVID - 2022. Se aplicaron 2 cuestionarios de manera virtual. El Índice de Necesidad de Tratamiento Ortodóntico (INTO) y la Percepción Estética Oral (OASIS), se utilizó el análisis de la correlación de Spearman con un nivel de significancia del 5%. Resultados: La relación es positiva entre la Necesidad de Tratamiento Ortodóntico y la percepción de la Estética Oral, se puede asumir, que mientras mayor sea la preocupación de los adolescentes por tratamiento ortodóntico será mayor su preocupación por la estética oral. Conclusión: Existe correlación positiva entre la necesidad de tratamiento Ortodóntico y la percepción de Estética Oral de los adolescentes de la I.E. “Jesús de Nazareth” – Cajamarca 2022.

The Orthodontic Treatment Need Index (INTO) and Oral Aesthetic Perception (OASIS), Spearman's correlation analysis was used. With a significance level of 5%. Results: The relationship is positive between the Need for Orthodontic Treatment and the Perception of Oral Aesthetics, it can be assumed that the greater the concern of adolescents for orthodontic treatment, the greater their concern for oral aesthetics.
