Se aplicó el inventario de SISCO para estrés académico el cual se divide en 3 dimensiones y posee 29 ítems y para la ansiedad se aplicó el Test de Hamilton con 14 items. Estas fueron valoradas con la escala de Likert. Se realizó el estudio piloto en 33 estudiantes y se determinó la confiabilidad con el Alfa de Cronbach se halló un valor de 0,925 para el inventario de SISCO y 0,846 en el Test de ansiedad de Hamilton. Se utilizó la prueba estadística chi cuadrado con un nivel de significancia del 5% para hallar la relación entre ambas variables. Resultados: Existe asociación entre estrés y ansiedad (p<0.05) En relación al sexo se encontró estrés moderado en mujeres con el 33 % y en hombres 26%, ansiedad moderada en 26% en ambos sexos; en relación al ciclo de estudio, se halló estrés moderado en el 59% en los estudiantes de VII y VIII y ansiedad moderada de 16% en VII ciclo. Conclusiones: Los estudiantes de Estomatología presentaron asociación entre el estrés y ansiedad.

It was applied to 123 students from V to X cycle of 2022-2 using the non-probabilistic method. For this, the SISCO Inventory 22 was applied with 29 items for academic stress and the Hamilton test 24 with 14 items for anxiety which were assessed with the Likert scale. The pilot study was carried out and reliability was determined for the SISCO Inventory of 0.925 and Hamilton of 0.846 . The chi-square statistical test was also used to obtained significance level of 5%. Results: The relationship between the variables of stress and anxiety, It was obtained as a statistically significant relationship. In relation to gender, moderate stress was presented in women with 33%, and in men 26%, moderate anxiety in 26% in both sexes; about the study cycle, there was a moderate stress of 59% in the students of VII and VIII and moderate anxiety of 16% in the VII study cycle.
