Resultados: La frecuencia de diabetes mellitus y dislipidemias fueron significativamente mayores en el grupo de pacientes con infarto agudo de miocardio (p<0.05); la frecuencia de disfunción eréctil en pacientes con infarto agudo de miocardio fue de 29/31 =93%, la frecuencia de disfunción eréctil en pacientes sin infarto agudo de miocardio fue de 72/94 =76%; la disfunción eréctil es factor asociado a infarto agudo de miocardio con una razón de prevalencias de 4.43 el cual fue significativo (p<0.05). Conclusión: hay asociación entre disfunción eréctil y el infarto agudo de miocardio entre pacientes varones de 50 y 70 años atendidos en el Servicio de urología del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray de Trujillo en el año 2022
