Resultados: La frecuencia de anemia gestacional en los pacientes con y sin gestación adolescente fue de 25% y 15% respectivamente. El odss ratio de gestación adolescente en relación a anemia gestacional fue de 1.97 (p<0.05). Los promedios de hemoglobina materna en el grupo con y sin gestación adolescente fueron de 11.5 y 12.7 respectivamente (p<0.05). Conclusiones: La gestación adolescente es factor de riesgo asociado a anemia gestacional en el Hospital Belen de Trujillo. El promedio de hemoglobina materna de las gestantes adolescentes es signicativamente menor que el promedio de la hemoglobina materna de las gestantes no adolescentes.

Results: The frequency of gestational anemia between with and without teen pregnancy were 25% y 15% respectively. Teen pregnancy odss ratio related to gestational anemia was 1.97 (p<0.05). The averages of maternal hemoglobin in the group with and without teen pregnancy were 11.5 y 12.7 respectively (p<0.05). Conclusions: Teen pregnancy is a risk factor associated to gestational anemia at Trujillo Belen Hospital.
