Se dispuso de una muestra de 60 pacientes pre- operatorios del servicio de cirugía del hospital III Essalud Chimbote. En esta recopilación de datos se utilizaron como herramientas la prueba de nivel de conocimientos preoperatorio y el Inventario de Ansiedad Estado- Rasgo de Spielberg (IDARE-I). Dando como resultado lo siguiente: la variable de nivel de conocimiento se obtuvo que el 73.3 % de los pacientes presentaron un conocimiento bueno, seguido de 23.3 % regular y un 3.3% deficiente; así mismo, en la variable de grado de ansiedad se obtuvo que el 25.0 % de los pacientes presentaron un grado de ansiedad alto, seguido de un 48.3 % moderado y un 26.7 % bajo, llegando a concluir que existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre el conocimiento y grado de ansiedad de los paciente que acudieron al Hospital Es Salud III Chimbote, 2024

A sample of 60 preoperative patients from the surgery service of the III Essalud Chimbote hospital was available. In this data collection, the preoperative knowledge level test and the Spielberg State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (IDARE-I) were used as tools.
