description Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal y los hábitos de higiene bucal en adolescentes de la Institución Educativa “Gustavo Ries”, Trujillo 2023. Metodología: Se realizó un estudio de tipo básico y relacional, con 297 estudiantes de secundaria matriculados en el 2023, de 12 a 17 años de edad, a quienes se les aplicó el cuestionario de nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal con 20 preguntas de tipo cerrado y selección múltiple, y el cuestionario de hábitos de higiene bucal con 8 preguntas del mismo tipo. Se aplicó estadística descriptiva y se utilizó la prueba de Chi cuadrado para determinar la relación entre variables. Resultados: Se encontró que existe relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal y hábitos de higiene bucal en adolescentes, predominando el nivel regular tanto en conocimiento sobre salud bucal como en hábitos de higiene, con un 72.05% y 65.65% respectivamente. El nivel de conocimiento y los hábitos de higiene bucal predominantes fueron regulares en ambos sexos y grupos de edades. Conclusión: Existe relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal y hábitos de higiene bucal en adolescentes de la Institución Educativa “Gustavo Ries”, Trujillo 2023
