description El presente trabajo se fundamenta en el conocimiento de la psicomotricidad y el arte infantil enmarcado en el respeto de la “existencia de las enormes diferencias en el aprendizaje y el carácter único e irrepetible de cada mente concreta” (De La Cruz y Mazaira, 1990, p.30) con el fin de establecer diversos mecanismos, a través del arte infantil, de estimulación para la adquisición y desarrollo de habilidades motrices finas en niños. Se ha identificado que el sistema educativo y las instituciones escolares trabajan cumpliendo programaciones de contenidos, más que habilidades y destrezas. La premura de su cumplimiento impide al maestro detenerse a detectar dificultades en el desarrollo de sus estudiantes.
