Sumario: | The present research of work entitled "Supplementary Irrigation by furrows the method of production pijuayo (Bactris gasipaes Kunth.). for Palmito in the sector Achual-Morales, was conducted in the Experimental grounds Institute of the Peruvian Amazon IIAP, Achual sector in the District of Morales, during the period July 2006 to July 2007. In order to determine the volume of irrigation according to the density using furrows for the production of palm, and also evaluate and compare their behavior with witnesses watered exclusively with precipitation in the area. We used a DBCA by testing the delivery of volumes of irrigation (natural rainfall, 2 000 and 4 000 mm / year), subject to various densities (5 000 and 10 000 pl / ha). The parameters evaluated were: diameter at the base of the stem, plant height at harvest, length of the blade guide, length palmito net top diameter, bottom diameter and weight of palmito net. Moreover, comparing the historical pattern of rainfall recorded in the period 1976-2005, with precipitation during the project. The irrigation in the production of pijuayo for palmito produced yield 159.13 g 154.99 g in treatments T3 and T4, the amount of 4 000 mm / year, showed the greatest increase in production regardless of the density, thus achieving better results in the parameters. Total precipitation 1 268.96 mm., Recorded during the experiment versus the historical pattern were variables per share of climate change. The value of this research impact on the contribution as an option to handle the growing pijuayo for palmito in areas of low rainfall, but irrigation and produce for the industry and also for exportation. |
