This thesis research study entitled "EVALUATION OF NOISE POLLUTION IN URBAN AREAS CITIES MOYOBAMBA AND RIOJA - 2012" is based on the following: Municipalities of Moyobamba and Rioja - Municipal Services Management and Environment, since October of 2011 we opened the doors to give us your support and taking the respective interest to develop the following activities: Lift SLM information to evaluate the decibels noise and to take measures to help control excess noise in the town of their cities. For this case the diagnosis of noise was divided into various activities seeking to achieve greater precision in the information, in our case most notably performed a major general sampling in urban areas, seeking to identify the most critica! points of existing noise pollution the area and know their sound pressure levels, vulnerability, characteristics and their effect on the population. For a complete understanding of noise pollution was conducted field surveys that focus as the methodologies used, the survey conducted by this decibel units established as sampling points. While also held cabinet work processmg all the data, all the instructions of the specialists in charge of Development Management and Environmental Management. In addition to starting the approach of a proposal for the establishment of an area responsible for conducting outreach activities that can be transmitted by radio sources, television and physical, do the following analysis: It is necessary to repotencie offices institutional image of each municipal government both Moyobamba like Rioja, plus incorporate within planned expenditures that should be included in regular resources of municipalities so that outreach work is timely and uninterrupted. It is recommended that environmental awareness programs should be included in all public and prívate sectors who have all budgets for the implementation of strategies, and training primarily noise pollution. The activities were conducted entirely properly and despite the weather conditions and the objectives were achieved such as socialization campaign with active participation of institutions and social organizations. The study was conducted thesis research and concluded successfully.
