To evaluate the risk, the quantitative method proposed by MINTRA was applied; hazards and risk were recorded in an IPER matrix. The JSI and REBA ergonomic methods were used to determine the level of ergonomic risk. It was found that the danger of ergonomic type is the most frequent, the risks presented 5% to occupational health and 4% to safety. The JSI method showed that the task of loading presented a very high level of risk, and the REBA method presented very high-risk levels in almost all present tasks. It can be concluded that in the wholesale fishing market I present very high-risk levels in the accomplishment of the tasks, being necessary the application of control measures to avoid labor accidents.KEY WORDS: Occupational hazards, Occupational risks, IPER, JSI, REBA

La muestra estuvo constituida por los trabajadores del Mercado Mayorista encargados de la manipulación y venta de los recursos hidrobiológicos. Se identificaron los puestos de trabajo existentes, para poder evaluar las condiciones y/o situaciones de trabajo y poder identificar los peligros a los que están expuestos. Para evaluar el riesgo, se aplicó el método cuantitativo propuesto por el MINTRA; los peligros y riesgo fueron registrados en una matriz IPER. Se emplearon los métodos ergonómicos JSI y REBA, para determinar el nivel de riesgo ergonómico. Se encontró que el peligro de tipo ergonómico es el más frecuente, los riesgos presentaron un 5% a la salud ocupacionales y 4% a la seguridad. El método JSI demostró que la tarea de estiba presento un nivel de riesgo muy alto, y el método REBA presento niveles de riesgo muy alto en casi todas las tareas presentes. Se puede concluir que en el mercado mayorista pesquero presento niveles de riesgo muy altos en la realización de las tareas, siendo necesaria la aplicación de medidas de control para evitar accidentes laborales.
