The research aimed at determining the relationship between these factors: type of anesthesia, duration of surgery, the patient's age, and the operating temperature in the development of surgical hypothermia in hospital Victor Lazarte Echegaray Trujillo unnoticed. To do this, we conducted a descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional prospective, the sample of 204 patients. The temperature of the operating room and patient body temperature were measured every 15 minutes during surgery temperature variables of surgery, duration of surgery and the patient's age, is highly significant association with the development of hypothermia surgical and accidental to the variable type anesthesia, the study revealed the presence of inadvertent hypothermia in surgical patients in the three groups, no statistically significant difference between the type of anesthesia and the development of surgical hypothermia unnoticed. This suggests the association of two or more variables for the patient develops unnoticed surgical hypothermia
