Experiencia y formación académica profesional de la enfermera intensivista y la actitud ética frente al paciente crítico irreversible

This descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional research study was conducted in registered nurses who work in intensive care unit of Trujillo Belen Hospital. The purpose was to establish the relation between experiences and studies with ethical attitude to end of life critically ill patients. The sample universe was constituted by 9 professional nurses whom there was applied an instrument used in the research “terminal patients and nurses´attitude” in Cordoba, Argentina. The satistical análisis to measure the relation between the variables was realized by means of the test Fisher and report no significant correlation (PEF=643>0.05) between profesional experience and ethical attitude and professional academic training (undergraduate and postgraduateeducation). It is important to point out that in relation of 55.6% of non-positive ethical attitude, the highest percentage (33.4%) is to nurses who work more than five years of experience and of this percentage, 22.24% are undergraduates’ nurses (bachelor). And of the 44.4% nurses with positve ethical attitude the highest percentage (22.2%) are postgraduate nurses with more than five years of experience. So professional academic training level professional education they complement each other to positive ethical attitude.
