Descripción
Sumario:This report gives the results of glucose levels determination practiced to 100 outpatients of both sexes who came to the Policlinico Rio Seco - El Porvenir, for which blood samples were taken and were respective subjected to analysis by enzymatic method, thus determining each patient's blood sugar. The goal we pursue is to determine each value and disclose the results to each respective patient, and then guide and point out the necessary guidelines to follow to maintain your health. For the analysis of the results was used to calculate percentages by sex and age, and distribution of decreased, normal and increased glucose levels. Where the highest percentage of women (69%) compared to males (31%), the conclusions drawn were: 29% had decreased levels, 66% had normal levels and 5% had increased glucose levels. The patients whose ages ranged from 25 - 44, 3% had increased levels, 33 % had normal blood glucose levels and 18% decreased levels, in contrast to patients whose ages ranged from 45 - 65 years who obtained 33% of normal levels, a 11% decreased levels and 2% increased levels
