Sumario:The objective of this research is to determine the influence of low birth weight in the application of antibacterial agents by neonatal intensive care unit to the mixer, Intravenous National Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins in Lima, in 2009. This research is a descriptive, comparative, retrospective cross-sectional for which, we analyzed the records containing the prescriptions of patients hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit of HNERM, in the period January to December 2009 of these are 680 patients who met the inclusion criteria, which were submitted to evaluation by the literature method - analytical, finding the end. It took a whole antibacterial preparations in intravenous mixtures Unit for neonatal intensive care unit. Was found that there is influence in the application of antibacterial agents to intravenous mixtures Unit for neonatal intensive care unit according to the weight of infants hospitalized at the National Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, EsSalud in 2009.
