In addition, by means of the Chi square test with a significance of <0.05 it was demonstrated and concluded that the age group does not influence, neither the sex in the level of plasma ascorbic acid.

Luego de procesar 50 muestras de suero sanguíneo se obtuvo que el 17% de jóvenes presenta un nivel bajo de ácido ascórbico y un 83% presenta un nivel normal de ácido ascórbico; en los adultos se obtuvo que el 11% presenta un nivel bajo de ácido ascórbico y un 89% presenta un nivel normal de ácido ascórbico.
