Se obtuvo la composición de macronutrientes en las semillas de Salvia hispánica L. “Chía” Los resultados obtenidos fueron: Humedad 83,5 g/100g obtenido por el método gravimétrico de la estufa; cenizas 5,92g/100g obtenido por el método de incineración directa; acidez 2,1 g (expresado en ácido láctico) obtenido por el método de acidimetría; carbohidratos 24 g/100g obtenido por el método de Fehling, proteínas 18 g/100g obtenido por el método Semimicro Kjeldahl, lípidos 31,5 g/100g obtenido por el método de Soxhlet.
