Descripción
Sumario:This study presents the design of a model for decision-making for software development_x000D_ projects. The proposed model is based on the consequences of strategic decisions on_x000D_ factors such as cost, risk, budget and schedule of software projects. The main advantage_x000D_ of the proposed model is that it integrates the management of risks, cost estimation and_x000D_ planning of project management for decision-making for the development of software_x000D_ for linked projects. The results of the model of project management planning determine_x000D_ the budget and the necessary timetable for a project. Different strategic decisions pose_x000D_ different types of risks, each of which require different commitments of costs. Therefore,_x000D_ every strategic decision requires a project management plan with its own budget and_x000D_ timetable for development of software. Thus, the model estimates the risk and cost_x000D_ under different strategic decisions and mapped according to the project management_x000D_ plans. The model was applied to a case study, showing the effect of the different strategic_x000D_ decisions about the risk and the cost of the different phases of software development_x000D_ and ultimately, budget and schedule required to complete the project. This therefore_x000D_ provides a critical view on the identification of the best strategy for the development of_x000D_ software projects
