ABSTRACT The purpose of the research is to propose a strategic plan to improve the competitiveness of the company Cozaqui Ingenieros SAC Chiclayo 2016. The study was non-experimental and the design of a single cell. The platform was constituted by 20 companies that provide consultancy services for Works in Lambayeque. The company Cozaqui Ingenieros SAC was chosen as a sample; a reliable and validated questionnaire has been used to collect field information; the data obtained were processed through the statistical software. The results are presented in tables and statistical figures determining the proposal of the strategic plan allows to improve the competitiveness of the company Cozaqui Ingenieros SAC It is concluded that the analysis of factors of the external environment is the political and economic factor has greater impact and in terms of the internal environment is the managerial and financial factor, its greatest strength being adequate logistic management and its weakness not having a capital reserve. It is recommended that the management of the company Cozaqui Ingenieros SAC must apply the strategic plan proposal for a better direction, generating competitive advantage and being a leader in the market of the works consultancy.
