Establecer cómo es la aplicación de herramientas de gestión basado en estándares de seguridad en la Unidad de Producción Tantahuatay – Minera Coimolache 2020. Es una investigación de tipo descriptiva y diseño no experimental transversal; se empleó la técnica del análisis documental y el fichaje en una población que estuvo conformada por las actividades operacionales en la Unidad de Producción Tantahuatay en el año 2020. Se demostró que es efectivo la aplicación de herramientas de gestión basado en estándares de seguridad, ya que se comprobó que su ejecución está basada en la normativa legal vigente en concordancia con la Ley N° 29783, Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo y del D.S. 024-2016-EM, Reglamento de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional en Minería y su modificatoria aprobada por D.S 023-2017-EM, contiene las actividades pertinentes y especificas en cada operación, los mismos que han permitido aminorar la accidentabilidad en un 90.5 % respecto al año anterior, es decir de 1.64 a 0.15 en la Unidad Minera Tantahuatay – Minera Coimolache en el año 2020. ----- To establish how is the application of management tools based on safety standards in the Production Unit Tantahuatay – Minera Coimolache 2020. It is a descriptive research and non-experimental cross-sectional design; the technique of documentary analysis and signing was used in a population that was made up of operational activities in the Tantahuatay Production Unit in 2020. It was demonstrated that the application of management tools based on safety standards is effective, since it was verified that their execution is based on the current legal regulations in accordance with Law No. 29783, Law on Safety and Health at Work and D.S. 024- 2016-EM, Regulation of Occupational Safety and Health in Mining and its amendment approved by D.S 023-2017-EM, contains the relevant and specific activities in each operation, the same ones that have allowed to reduce the accident rate by 90.5% compared to the previous year, that is, from 1.64 to 0.15 in the Tantahuatay – Minera Coimolache Mining Unit in 2020.
