Evaluación de harina de habas (Vicia faba) en dietas de inicio de gazapos en (Cavia porcellus) sobre los índices productivos

El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en la en la granja de la Facultad de Veterinaria Facultad de Veterinaria y Zootecnia de la Universidad Nacional San Luis Gonzaga de Ica, ubicado en el distrito de Alto Larán provincia de Chincha, departamento de ICA, con el objeto de evaluar tres niveles de Harina de haba (HH) al 0, 2 y 3 % en dietas para cuyes en crecimiento con exclusión de forraje, con los que se formaron tres tratamientos en la etapa de crecimiento. El método que se él se emplearon 60 cuyes todos machos, los animales seleccionados fueron de líneas mejoradas obtenidos de cruces con raza Perú, de 14 ± 3 días de edad. Los resultados no indican diferencias estadísticas significativas para el peso inicial entre tratamientos pero si en el peso final, obteniéndose: Control 926 g (0% HD), T1 968 g (2% HH), T2 975 g (2% HH) En cuanto a la conversión alimenticia, se obtuvieron mejores resultados en los tratamientos cuyos niveles de HH fueron al 2 y 3 % siendo estos de 3.91 y 3.84 respectivamente. Asimismo, se encontró diferencias estadísticas significativas para el consumo total (solo alimento balanceado) registrándose alrededor de 2830 a 2910 g. Los rendimientos de carcasa alcanzados fueron de 68.25% y 68.19% para los tratamientos cuyos niveles de HH fueron los que obtuvieron mejor respuesta en ganancia de peso T2 y T3 (2 y 3% HH); en cuanto a la grasa de cobertura que presenta la carcasa este disminuyó en los tratamientos cuyo nivel de HH fue mayor. The present research work was carried out on the farm of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics of the National University San Luis Gonzaga de Ica, located in the district of Alto Larán, province of Chincha, department of ICA, with the objective of to evaluate three levels of broad bean flour (FH) at 0, 2 and 3 % in diets for growing guinea pigs excluding forage, with which three treatments were formed in the growth stage. The method used was 60 guinea pigs, all male, the selected animals were from improved lines obtained from crosses with the Peru breed, 14 ± 3 days old. The results do not indicate significant statistical differences for the initial weight between treatments but in the final weight, obtaining: Control 926 g (0% HD), T1 968 g (2% HH), T2 975 g (2% HH) As soon as to the feed conversion, better results were obtained in the treatments whose HH levels were 2 and 3 %, these being 3.91 and 3.84 respectively. Likewise, significant statistical differences were found for total consumption (balanced food only) registering around 2830 to 2910 g. The carcass yields achieved were 68.25% and 68.19% for the treatments whose HH levels were the ones that obtained the best response in weight gain T2 and T3 (2 and 3% HH); Regarding the cover fat that the carcass presents, it decreased in the treatments whose level of HH was higher.
