Descripción
Sumario:The study, with a quantitative, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional approach, evaluated the occupational safety system in wastewater suction and transport activities in industrial plants in Lima, with a sample based on the activities carried out by RESITER S.A.C. collaborators at the Nestlé industrial plant in Lima. Using a structured survey with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.748 and analysis using the Spearman coefficient, it was concluded that: The implemented safety systems comply with current regulations and have improved the work environment, although they require better supervision and continuous monitoring. The main risks include exposure to chemicals, toxic gases and biomechanical risks, highlighting the need to adapt preventive measures to the specific conditions of each plant. Safety and management protocols have reduced risks, but the lack of preventive maintenance and the need for technological modernization were identified as critical areas. The reduction in accidents has increased safety, reduced associated costs and favored the sustainable development of the company. There is a significant correlation between regulatory occupational safety systems and workers' perception of safety in these activities.
