Descripción
Sumario:The place where the study was conducted was Puerto Almendra, located in the Loreto region. The purpose was to determine the degree of relationship between diameter and overall height of Tapirira guianensis Aubl trees. “huira caspi” and Cedrelinga cateniformis (Ducke) Ducke “tornillo” in natural forest, according to the sample size, Puerto Almendra, Loreto, Peru– 2022. Trees with DAP ≥ 10 cm were used and 95 trees of the species were recorded Cedrelinga cateniformis (Ducke) Ducke “tornillo” and 69 trees of the species Tapirira guianensis Aubl. “huira caspi”; 3 samples were made for each species, the first had 20 individuals, the second was 30 individuals and the third had 32 individuals for the “tornillo” and 28 individuals for “huira caspi” all were chosen at random. As results we have, the allometric model with the best fit was the cubic one for both species in the overall diameter-height relationship; The degree of relationship for the “tornillo” was Excellent and Good for “huira caspi”; The prediction equations were: “tornillo” species, Y= 1.494 + (0.764 x t) + (-0.009 x t2) + (0.00003449 x t3); “huira caspi” species: Y=-29.430 + (6.566 x t) + (-0.295 x t2) + (0.004 x t3)
