Descripción
Sumario:The present work was carried out in the Area in Assignment of Use of the Community of San Rafael between April 2017 and February 2018. The objective was to know the structure of the bat community in said area, for which three sampling areas were located and six sampling units in total, each zone separated by 500 m from each other, in each sampling unit a system of vertically aligned mist nets was used through the use of pulleys, thus allowing the capture of bats that flew between 0.5 m and 10.5 m. 448 individuals belonging to 29 species were captured, the most abundant species were Artibeus planirostris, Carollia perspicillata, Carollia brevicauda and Artibeus obscurus, none showed a marked dominance, but if a high equity, in terms of trophic guilds, the frugivore was the most representative With 85% of the catches, in relation to the vertical distribution, higher catches were obtained in section B (3 m-5.5 m). In conclusion, there is considerable diversity in the area; As for the frugivorous trophic guild, this proportion is common in other studies in the Amazon; On the other hand, the data obtained from the vertical distribution make it difficult to affirm that there is a preference of bats for any of the sections.
