Departamento Académico de NutriciónEl presente estudio tuvo como propósito comparar el efecto de la enramicina en pollos de engorde mediante la evaluación de los parámetros productivos y morfometría intestinal. Se usaron un total de 800 pollos machos de 1 día de edad, divididos en 4 tratamientos de 200 animales, cada tratamiento tuvo 8 repeticiones. T1: Control negativo; dieta sin promotor de crecimiento; T2: T1+ Bacitracina metileno disalicilato (BMD) 1kg/tn (110 ppm) para el inicio y 0.5kg/tn (55 ppm) para crecimiento y acabado; T3: T1 + Enramicina 8% (Producto A, 10 ppm); T4: T1+ Enramicina 8% (Producto B, 10 ppm). No se encontró diferencia estadística a los 42 días entre los grupos en ninguno de los parámetros productivos bajo evaluación. Al evaluar la histomorfometría en el duodeno no se encontraron diferencias significativas con respecto a la altura de vellosidad, al ancho de vellosidad, ni el área, sin embargo, el tratamiento donde no se usó ningún promotor de crecimiento obtuvo una mayor profundidad de cripta comparando con los pollos alimentados con enramicina (T3). Por otro lado, T3 obtuvo un mejor índice intestinal. En el yeyuno la altura de vellosidad fue menor en los animales que se le suministro enramicina (T3 Y T4), además no hubo una diferencia estadística para el ancho de vellosidad, profundidad de cripta, área ni la relación altura / profundidad. En el íleon la altura y área de vellosidad fue menor en los animales que se le suministro Enramicina (T4). Los tratamientos con enramicina (T3 Y T4) tuvieron una menor profundidad de cripta. Se concluye que la inclusión del antibiótico enramicina no afectó los parámetros productivos e influyó de forma positiva en la profundidad de cripta y la relación altura/profundidad en el duodeno, mientras en el yeyuno e íleon la enramicina redujo la altura de las vellosidades.The objective of this study was to compare the effect of enramycin in broilers by evaluating the productive parameters and intestinal morphometry. A total of 800 1-day-old male chickens were used, divided into 4 treatments of 200 animals, each treatment had 8 repetitions: T1: Negative control; diet without growth promoter; T2: T1+ Bacitracin methylene disalicylate (BMD) 1kg/tn (110 ppm) for the start and 0.5kg/tn (55 ppm) for growth and finishing; T3: T1 + Enramycin 8% (Product A, 10 ppm); T4: T1+ Enramycin 8% (Product B, 10 ppm).No statistical difference was found at 42 days between the groups in any of the productive parameters under evaluation. When evaluating histomorphometry in the duodenum, no significant differences were found with respect to villus height, villus width, or area, however, the treatment where no growth promoter was used obtained a greater crypt depth compared with chickens fed with enramycin (T3). On the other hand, T3 obtained a better intestinal index. In the jejunum, the villus height was lower in the animals that were given enramycin (T3 and T4), in addition there was no statistical difference for the villus width, crypt depth, area, or the height/depth ratio. In the ileum, the height and area of villi was lower in the animals that were given enramycin (T4). The treatments with enramycin (T3 and T4) had a lower crypt depth.
