Maestría en Ciencias AmbientalesA causa de la escasa información sobre la distribución de la rana Pristimantis simonsii, en el departamento de Cajamarca, considerada una especie de alto valor social, encontrarse bajo estatus de vulnerabilidad (IUCN), en peligro crítico y endémica (legislación peruana), se realizó el modelamiento de la distribución ecológica potencial mediante el algoritmo de modelamiento de Maxent, iterando datos de presencia de la especie con variables de entorno como las Bioclimaticas de WorldClim y el estudio de Zonificación Ecológica Económica. El objetivo principal de la investigación ha sido estimar la distribución ecológica potencial de la especie de Anuro Pristimantis simonsii en el departamento de Cajamarca, mediante el desarrollo de un modelo probabilístico de registro de presencias de la especie. Asimismo, se determinó la frecuencia relativa de la especie por hábitat en función de las variables de entorno empleadas. Finalmente, los resultados del modelamiento arrojaron valores de distribución potencial de la especie en una superficie de 84 692.23 ha con una capacidad predictiva de 96.6%.The review presents the modeling of the potential ecological distribution of the frog Pristimantis simonsii in Cajamarca, this specie of frog of high social value is considered a specie under vulnerable (IUCN), critical and endemic threat status (Peruvian legislation). The modeling of the ecological distribution was made using the Maxent modeling algorithm, making use of the presence data of the species and environmental variables developed in previous studies such as WorldClim Bioclimatic variables and the study of Economic Ecological Zoning. The main objective of the research has been to estimate the potential ecological distribution of the species of Anuro Pristimantis simonsii in the department of Cajamarca, through the development of a probabilistic model of record the presence of the species.
