Departamento Académico de Manejo ForestalLa presente monografía analiza las experiencias en el desarrollo de cuatro proyectos de empresas rurales asociativas (ERA) como mecanismo de gestión del paisaje en Perú y Paraguay. El objetivo principal es evaluar la contribución de su fortalecimiento al manejo del paisaje. Los resultados del estudio indican que las ERA han contribuido a la mejora de los ecosistemas cooperativos, basándose en los ejes del proyecto, teniendo como una de las aristas principales la gobernanza. El fortalecimiento de las ERA ha permitido mejorar la toma de decisiones, la gestión del conocimiento y la capacitación ambiental. Sin embargo, se identificaron algunos retos para la gestión, como la falta de una perspectiva de paisaje desde el inicio de los proyectos, la falta de capacidades en las ERA y las crisis políticas y económicas. En base a los resultados, se concluye que las ERA son un mecanismo importante para la gestión del paisaje y que su fortalecimiento es fundamental para el éxito de ésta. Se recomienda incluir la gestión del paisaje desde el inicio de los proyectos de desarrollo rural, fortalecer las capacidades de las ERA en materia de gestión del paisaje y promover el intercambio de experiencias y buenas prácticasThis thesis analyzes the experiences in the development of four projects of rural associative enterprises (ERA) as a mechanism for landscape management in Peru and Paraguay. The main objective is to evaluate the contribution of their strengthening to landscape management. The results of the study indicate that ERAs have contributed to the improvement of cooperative ecosystems, based on the project's axes, with governance being one of the main cornerstones. The strengthening of ERAs has allowed for better decision making, knowledge management, and environmental training. However, some challenges were identified for landscape management, such as the lack of a landscape perspective from the beginning of the projects, the lack of capacities in the ERAs, and political and economic crises. Based on the results, it is concluded that ERAs are an important mechanism for landscape management and that their strengthening is fundamental for its success.
