Maestría en EcoturismoEl presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo general detenninar una ruta ecoturística de caminata en la cuenca alta del Valle de Virú, La Libertad. Para lograrlo, el proceso metodológico ha consistido, primero, en identificar el circuito y luego involucrar a la población local de la comunidad de Caray, para acceder al camino escogido, recorrerlo y contar con su apoyo para establecer la mta turística, vinculándola con sus antecedentes ancestrales. Efectivamente, como en muchos lugares de la zona, la ruta seleccionada fonna parte de una gran red de caminos prehispánicos, la cual puede ser recuperada y habilitada para el ecoturismo. Sobre esta red se ha planteado una ruta orientada al segmento naturaleza-aventura, para personas que tienen conocimientos y cierta capacidad para realizar caminatas. Allí se han establecido los descansos respectivos y el planteamiento de una señalización básica, considerando los aspectos constructivos de la zona de Virú, recurriendo a patrones culturales propios, verificados a través de la observación de ceramios típicos de la cultura Virú, y de la forma tradicional de construcción del poblador vimñero. Para tener los resultados buscados y la mta validada, se ha aplicado una encuesta a profundidad a gmpos de expertos y a jóvenes que recién se inician en la caminata, dando como resultado coincidente el gran potencial de la mta, y la necesidad de que ésta cuente una historia, asociada a los mitos y leyendas locales para enriquecer la experiencia del visitante. La población local se ha dado cuenta - a raíz de esta investigación - del potencial que tiene su zona y ha establecido un Comité de Ecoturismo para efectos de su conservación, organízación y empoderamiento en materia de ecotmismo, como una fonna de negocio adicional a las actividades económicas que realiza, para mejorar su ingreso económico y su calidad de vida.The present research aims to establish a route ecotomism overall hike in the upper basin Virú Valley, La Libertad.To set the path, the main approach has been to involve local people in the commtmity of Caray, to access established path, cross it and have your suppmt to achieve the objectives. Once contact is established, research has been conducted to determine if the route visited was a route used since ancient times. Like many places in the area, the route chosen is part of a large network of prehispanic roads that need to be recovered and qualified for ecotourism.On the beaten track, has set a route segment oriented nature-adventure, people who have knowledge and sorne ability to take walks. Tius route has established the respective breaks and the suggestion for a basic signaling, conside1ing the constructive aspects Virú area, and using cultural patterns typical of this area, verified by observation of typical ceramics Virú Culture, and the traditional form and construction of settler \¡)_ruñero. To have the results and validated route has been subjected to in-depth survey of expert groups and young people who are just starting on the lllke, resulting in matching the great potential of the route, and the need for it to have one lustory. Pair this aspect has been collected myths and legends that help enrich the visitor experience.
