Departamento Académico de HorticulturaEste trabajo fue llevado a cabo con el objetivo de describir las principales labores agrícolas que se realizan en el cultivo de Tangelo Minneola en el valle de Nazca, Ica; haciendo uso de la selección de experiencias más relevantes, su contextualización dentro de un marco teórico, recopilación de datos mediante entrevistas y evaluaciones realizadas en el campo descrito. El manejo agronómico del cultivo señalado, depende mucho de los factores del entorno en el que se desenvuelve el campo, tales como condiciones climáticas, producción estimada, fluctuación poblacional de las plagas, características propias del campo seleccionado (suelo, edad del campo, marco de plantación, entre otros), tecnología disponible y demás elementos que puedan influir en la gestión del cultivo. En el presente, se brinda la información teórica fundamental, para comprender el cultivo de Tangelo Minneola, los factores y requerimientos que determinan su desarrollo, las principales labores que se llevan a cabo en el mismo y las principales plagas y enfermedades que limitan el desarrollo del árbol y calidad de fruta. Además de esto, se muestra las características del cultivo y la zona en la cual se desarrolla; la descripción de las principales labores a llevar este, tales como poda, aplicaciones fitosanitarias, riego y fertilización, y cosecha como las más importantes, con este manejo se obtuvo rendimientos de producción promedios de 69 ton/ha.This work was carried out with the objective of describing the main agricultural tasks carried out in the cultivation of Tangelo Minneola in the Nazca valley, Ica; making use of the selection of the most relevant experiences, their contextualization within a theoretical framework, data collection through interviews and evaluations carried out in the described field. The agronomic management of this crop depends greatly on the factors of the environment in which the field develops, such as climatic conditions, estimated production, population fluctuation of pests, characteristics of the selected field (soil, age of the field, planting frame, among others), available technology and other elements that may influence the management of the crop. This paper provides fundamental theoretical information to understand the Tangelo Minneola crop, the factors and requirements that determine its development, the main tasks that are carried out in it and the main pests and diseases that limit the development of the tree and fruit quality. In addition to this, the characteristics of the crop and the zone in which it is grown are shown; the description of the main tasks to be carried out, such as pruning, phytosanitary applications, irrigation and fertilization, and harvesting as the most important ones.
