description En el siglo XX la literatura peruana ha alcanzado, sin duda, un desarrollo realmente apreciable en toda América Latina. Si bien el proceso de nuestra literatura parte de una tradición pre-hispánica e hispánica, en este sigo se va consolidando y adquiriendo autonomía. En este desarrollo de nuestro procesos literario ha sido definitivo el aporte de los narradores de esta generación; quienes han fundad la nueva narrativa peruana. De los años 60 a 74 surgen varios narradores; entre ellos destaca Alfredo Bryce Echenique, por poseer una voz narrativa y un universo ficcional propios; un estilo expresivo y cautivante, cargado de ternura y de nostalgia; un fino humor e ironía que caracteriza su escritura siempre amena, cargada de oralidad desbordante, mediante la cual el elector es cautivado por antihéroes amistosos y confesionales. Estos múltiples caracteres de la obra de Bryce han sido analizados en estudios interesantes en cuanto al recurso del lenguaje, que se ha denominado “oralidad bryceana”; así como también sobre la fictivización del autor y del narrador en algunas de sus novelas. Sin embargo, el campo de análisis de su obra es aún vasto, ya que su producción literaria se sigue consolidando.

Although the process of our literature stems from a pre-Hispanic and Hispanic tradition, in this I continue to consolidate and acquire autonomy. In this development of our literary processes, the contribution of the narrators of this generation has been definitive; who have founded the new Peruvian narrative. From the years 60 to 74 several narrators arise; among them stands out Alfredo Bryce Echenique, for having his own narrative voice and fictional universe; an expressive and captivating style, full of tenderness and nostalgia; a fine humor and irony that characterizes his always entertaining writing, loaded with overflowing orality, through which the voter is captivated by friendly and confessional anti-heroes. These multiple characteristics of Bryce's work have been analyzed in interesting studies regarding the use of language, which has been called “Brycean orality”; as well as the fictivization of the author and the narrator in some of his novels.
