Resultados: la variable que mostró asociación estadísticamente significativa fue únicamente la edad de la madre (p = 0.019), con un coeficiente negativo (B = -1.387) y un odds ratio (OR = 0.250), lo que indica que, a mayor edad de la madre, la probabilidad de adherencia disminuye significativamente. Los demás factores evaluados, estado civil, número de hijos, procedencia, ocupación, ingreso económico y conocimiento, no mostraron asociación estadísticamente significativa (p > 0.05) en este modelo, por lo que no se puede afirmar que tengan un efecto directo y concluyente sobre la adherencia al tratamiento. Conclusión: la edad de la madre es el único factor sociodemográfico con asociación estadísticamente significativa a la adherencia al tratamiento de anemia ferropénica en niños de 6 a 36 meses, identificándose una disminución en la adherencia conforme aumenta la edad materna. La adherencia al tratamiento es un proceso complejo y multifactorial que implica aspectos individuales, sociales, culturales y económicos, que deben ser abordados en conjunto para mejorar los resultados

Lopez Guillen, 2025. Materials and Methods: this study employed a quantitative approach, working with statistical data for analysis. It was non-experimental, as it did not seek to apply any interventions but rather to understand existing events. The study was cross-sectional and correlational Results: the only variable that showed a statistically significant association was maternal age (p = 0.019), with a negative coefficient (B = -1.387) and an odds ratio (OR = 0.250), indicating that the older the mother, the significantly lower the likelihood of adherence. The other factors evaluated marital status, number of children, origin, occupation, income, and knowledge did not show a statistically significant association (p > 0.05) in this model, so it cannot be stated that they have a direct and conclusive impact on treatment adherence. Conclusion: maternal age is the only sociodemographic factor with a statistically significant association with adherence to iron deficiency anemia treatment in children aged 6 to 36 months, with a decrease in adherence being identified with increasing maternal age.
