description El objetivo general de esta investigación consiste en determinar la relación entre el nivel de información sobre la intervención quirúrgica y el grado de ansiedad del paciente en el servicio de emergencia del Hospital Cayetano Heredia, Lima 2022. Se seleccionó como metodología el enfoque cuantitativo, método inductivo, tipo básica, nivel correlacional, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal. Para lograr recabar la información se tomó como población y muestra 250 personas que forman parte de los pacientes en el servicio de emergencia del Hospital Cayetano Heredia, Lima 2022. El muestreo a criterio del investigador fue no probabilístico considerando la muestra homogénea. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta, utilizando dos test para la cogida de datos. El análisis de la información, una vez aplicados los cuestionarios, se realizará mediante el software Excel y SPSS Statistics versión 27, almacenando y sistematizando todos los datos obtenidos.
