El estudio tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, con un diseño no experimental y descriptivo, basado en la recopilación y análisis de bibliografía relacionada con la actividad farmacológica y las actitudes del personal hacia los medicamentos genéricos. Los resultados revelaron que el 49.8% del personal farmacéutico en farmacias comunitarias tenía un alto nivel de conocimiento sobre los medicamentos genéricos. Asimismo, el 65.2% mostró una actitud favorable hacia su uso y el 78.1% adoptó prácticas adecuadas en su dispensación. En conclusión, se identificó que la mayoría del personal farmacéutico reconoce que los medicamentos genéricos son bioequivalentes a los de marca. Además, la actitud positiva y la aplicación de buenas prácticas en su manejo reflejan una aceptación creciente de estos productos en el ámbito comunitario.

Asimismo, el 65.2% mostró una actitud favorable hacia su uso y el 78.1% adoptó prácticas adecuadas en su dispensación. En conclusión, se identificó que la mayoría del personal farmacéutico reconoce que los medicamentos genéricos son bioequivalentes a los de marca. Además, la actitud positiva y la aplicación de buenas prácticas en su manejo reflejan una aceptación creciente de estos productos en el ámbito comunitario.The objective of this research was to analyze the perceptions and practices of pharmaceutical personnel regarding generic medications in community pharmacies in the Peruvian context. A systematic review of previous studies was carried out using databases such as Scielo, Scopus, Google Scholar, PubMed and Tripdatabase. The study had a qualitative approach, with a non-experimental and descriptive design, based on the collection and analysis of literature related to pharmacological activity and staff attitudes towards generic medications.The results revealed that 49.8% of pharmaceutical staff in community pharmacies had a high level of knowledge about generic medications. Likewise, 65.2% showed a favorable attitude towards its use and 78.1% adopted appropriate practices in its dispensing. In conclusion, it was identified that the majority of pharmaceutical personnel recognize that generic medications are bioequivalent to branded medications.
