Bajo anestesia general en condiciones estériles se realizó la Exodoncia del incisivo central superior derecho, inmediatamente después se aplicó vía tópica los geles según su respectivo grupo. La cicatrización se evaluó al 1er, 3er, 5to, 7mo, 10mo, 14to y 21er días respectivamente, el grupo control no recibió ningún tratamiento. Después de la exodoncia simple de las ratas los grupos experimentales formados no mostraron diferencias estadísticas en el tamaño promedio de la herida (p>0.05 en el basal). Se concluyó que los geles experimentales al 2 % no demostraron una aceleración del proceso de cicatrización en comparación con el grupo control.
