description La presente investigación tiene la finalidad de describir las características del control interno en las municipalidades del Perú: caso municipalidad provincial de Parinacochas de la región Ayacucho 2017; y al mismo tiempo para analizar todo el planeamiento de manera clara el tema que es objeto de estudio de investigación. Con respecto al objetivo 1, la importancia del Control Interno en las Municipalidades del Perú desarrollará un papel muy importante en un municipio, siendo las responsables de implantar estrategias y de prestar un servicio al ciudadano, por ende están obligadas al cumplimiento de sus funciones correspondientes, tomando en cuenta la importancia que representan como gobierno municipal, cautelando la legalidad y eficiencia de sus actos y operaciones, así como el logro de sus resultados, mediante una buena ejecución, resolver los problemas que afecta a la entidad. Con respecto al objetivo 2, el control interno es muy importante en la Municipalidad Provincial de Parinacochas ya que ayuda a promover el desarrollo organizacional, eficiencia, eficacia y transparencia en las operaciones para asegurar el cumplimiento del marco normativo, Proteger los recursos y bienes del Estado y por estar obligadas a brindar apoyo a la población en diversas áreas.
