The anti-inflammatory effect was evaluated by induction of plantar edema, 2% carrageenan was used in physiological solution as an agent inducing inflammation in the hind paw of the rat weighing 300 ± 20 g, measurements of the volume of inflammation were made 1, 3, 5, and 7 hours by means of the plethysmometer, likewise, in mice with a weight between 20 ± 2 g, the mean lethal dose (LD50) was
