Se aplicó el Inventario Burnout de Maslach (MBI) y la Escala Multidimensional de Apoyo Social Percibido de Zimet. Las variables fueron analizadas a través de “Correlación de Pearson y Spearman”. Concluyendo que existe correlación significativa entre ambas variables (r =-349), así como también se encontró correlación significativa entre la variable el burnout y las dimensiones de apoyo social (familia y amigos). También se ha encontrado presencia de Burnout en un 27% de los docentes y apoyo social percibido en un (57%).

The research is descriptive - correlational and presents a transversal design. The population is made up of 71 elementary teachers and the sample is 51, which were those who attended the educational center, the day of the evaluation, considering as a criterion that the sample would be constituted, by those who are present on the date of the application of tests. The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and the Zimet Multidimensional Scale of Social Support Perceived were applied. The variables were analyzed through "Correlation of Pearson and Spearman". Concluding that there is a significant correlation between both variables (r = -349), as well as a significant correlation between the burnout variable and the social support dimensions (family and friends).
