El método fue descriptivo, el diseño fue correlacional de corte transversal, de tipo cuantitativa. La muestra estuvo conformada por 60 profesionales de enfermería. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la lista de cotejo, la cual obtuvo una confiabilidad fuerte de 0,899 y 0,856. Los resultados arrojaron que el 53.33% de las enfermeras encuestadas presentan un nivel regular con respecto a la variable práctica de bioseguridad, el 30.00% presentan un nivel bueno y un 16.67%
