Se define la reabsorción radicular como la perdida de cemento y dentina en la superficie apical o lateral de la raíz de un diente, debido a la actividad cementolítica y eventualmente dentinolítica de naturaleza irreversible, que puede ser fisiológica o patológica, de naturaleza multifactorial y compleja.
