El estudio tuvo un diseño No experimental de corte transversal, de tipo descriptivo - comparativo; la muestra estudiada consistió en 80 adolescentes gestantes, las cuales fluctuaban en un promedio de edad entre 13 y 18 años. El instrumento utilizado para la investigación fue la Escala de Depresión de Reynolds (EDAR) y una encuesta personal, cuyo propósito fue conocer otros aspectos de la muestra estudiada. Entre los resultados no se encontraron diferencias en cuanto a la sintomatología depresiva según la edad.
