The present investigation was focused on the implementation of a safety plan to prevent occupational risks in the León de Juda E.I.R.L tannery - 2023. Where the study was of an applied type and with a pre-experimental design due to the fact that a pre and post test was applied. The initial diagnosis was based on the level of security, thus obtaining 22% compliance, considered a poor level that needs immediate improvement. For the second objective, the risks present were identified through the IPER matrix, where a total of 148 risks were registered in all areas, 19% are intolerable, 76% important and 10% are moderate; For the third objective, the health and safety plan was prepared and executed, managing to go from 22% to 76% compliance; For the last objective, the post-risk evaluation was carried out, 111 were registered, of which the level of danger was reduced since 69% were tolerable and 34% trivial. It was concluded that the implementation of a safety plan managed to prevent and reduce the level of occupational hazards in the tannery, in addition to providing a cost/benefit for the company.
